Uncontested scrums in Division 1 North?
This is the second occasion this season that Bethesda have had to play a first XV from this division which did not have sufficient front row players to play a league match!
With this competitive element removed from the match any result was possible, but fortunately for the visitors, all scoring was over in the first 15 minutes. Gethin Long kicked a penalty goal and Dylan Hughes scored a try following the best move of the match.
The remainder of the match will not remain long in the memory of either set of supporters but this does not reflect on the efforts of the players.
League administrators need to take a serious look at this situation before the game descends to a farce in North Wales.
